Introduction: Chitosan acetyl salicylate is a unique compound composed of Chitosan and acetylsalicylic acid (aspirin). Acetylsalicylic acid has two main applications: first, provide analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects as a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory agent; second, delay the formation of thrombus as an anti-platelet aggregation agent.
